·         Air Marshal Ajay Shriniwas Karnik is appointed as the director general of inspection and safety wing of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
·         Sania Mirza is appointed as brand ambassador for the ‘Mega Tennis Event’ organized by All India Tennis Association (AITA) which is aimed at the development of sport in the country.
·         Major General C.S. Nair has been appointed as the 14th Judge Advocate General JAG of the Indian Army.
