The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the result and score-sheet for the written exam held for the Constable (SDRF/IRP/Armed/Executive) positions in the Home Department. The exam, conducted on December 1, 2024, was part of the recruitment process under Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024, covering item numbers 01, 02, 05, and 06.

Provisional and Final Answer Key Updates: A provisional answer key was released on the exam day (01.12.2024) under Notice No. JKSSB COEOEXAM(UT)/36/2024-03 (7593651). After considering objections submitted within the specified period, the revised/final answer key was published on January 14, 2025, under the same notice number.

NCC Certificate Bonus Marks: As per S.O. 290 of 2021 issued by the Home Department, candidates with NCC certificates were granted additional marks as follows:

  • 5% of maximum marks for candidates holding an NCC “C” certificate.
  • 3% of maximum marks for candidates holding an NCC “B” certificate.
  • 2% of maximum marks for candidates holding an NCC “A” certificate.

Score-Sheet and Merit List Publication: The results and score-sheets for all candidates who appeared in the written exam are available as Annexure A. These documents reflect the candidates’ performance but do not guarantee progression to the next stages of the recruitment process.

Key Points to Note:

  • Merit-Based Shortlisting: Inclusion in the result or score-sheet does not ensure eligibility for further selection. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria, and JKSSB’s decisions will be final.
  • Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates within the merit-based selection zone will be called for the PST and PET. The schedule for these tests will be announced separately.
  • Verification of NCC Certificates: The additional marks for NCC certificates are provisional and subject to verification.
