Admission notification for CY-2011 batch
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to MBA, MCA and M.SC degree programmes of distance mode for the calendar year 2011
Anna University Distance Education MBA
Master of Business Administration (MBA): General Management, Technology Management, Financial Services Management, Retail Management, Health Services Management, Human Resources Management
Eligibility: A pass in any bachelor degree (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern), a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university chennai
MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
Eligibility: A pass in any bachelor’s degree (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern). The candidates should have studied Core Mathematics either at +2 level or Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer oriented subject as one of the subjects at the degree level and a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university Chennai
Master of Science (M.Sc) - Information Technology (4 semesters)
Eligibility: A pass in B.Sc (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern) (Mathematics/ Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering/Electronics) or B.Sc (Physics/Statistics/ Chemistry) or B.Sc with Mathematics or Computer Science as allied subject or B.Sc applied sciences (Computer technology/ Information technology/Computer systems maintenance and networking) or BCA or B.E./B.Tech any branch and a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university Chennai
A Printed application forms can be obtained in person from the director, centre for distance education, Anna University, Chennai-600025
The cost of application form is Rs 650/- payable in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the director, centre for distance education, Anna University, Chennai-600025. Those who want to get the printed application form by post should send demand draft for Rs 700/- well in advance before the last date for receipt of completed applications
Printed application forms can also be obtained only in person from the following study centres located outside Chennai on payment of Rs 650/- in cash

Important dates
Last date for receipt of requisition for issue of application form by post for calendar year 2011 batch: 24th December, 2010
Last date for receipt of completed applications for calendar year 2011 batch: 07th January, 2011
Date of entrance test: 30th January, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
Dates specified are for calendar year 2011 batch only. However, application forms are sold throughout the year
Completed applications should be sent to the director, centre for distance education, Anna University, Chennai-600025
Candidates obtaining the application form from the centre for distance education can submit the same immediately if they bring two copies of passport size photograph and attested photo copies of certificates of his/her qualification and get the hall ticket on the same day
Study centres will be operated in Tamil Nadu only where there are sufficient number of candidates
MCA/M.Sc programmes will be offered in Chennai only
Candidates should send only one application
Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination may also apply for admission but they have to produce a copy of the relevant provisional/degree certificate at the time of admission
