How to apply: Appear for on line common admission test (CAT 2010) to be conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) between 27th October to 23rd November, 2010 or appear for XAT-2011 on 02nd January, 2011 and update your online registration of XAT at www.xlri.edu to indicate your preference for SDMIMD

Obtain SDMIMD’s application form: Download PGDM 2011-13 application form; obtain SDMIMD’s application from the select branches of HDFC bank, by paying an application fee of Rs 1350/-

Please send the filled in application form along with the demand draft/photocopy of challan to the admission office, SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), No-1, Chamundi Hill Road, Siddarthanagar Post, Mysore-570011

Please email your CAT score to admission@sdmimd.ac.in along with name, address for correspondence and application form serial number to the admission office immediately after the CAT 2010/XAT 2011 results are published

Eligibility: Applicants should sit for the CAT2010/XAT 2011 exams and have at least a three-year Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any college recognized by the all India council for technical education (AICTE)/association of Indian universities (AIU), with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA

Those appearing for their final year Bachelor’s degree examination in April/May 2011 may also apply, provided they complete their final degree examination and meet other requirements before the commencement of the course in the first week of June 2011. They need to submit the degree certificate/provisional pass certificate and marks sheets latest by 31st August, 2011

Students may also be considered for admission on the basis of a valid GMAT score

SDM Institutions: Candidates residing in Mysore can also obtain application form on payment of Rs 1350/- from the following institute MMK and SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Mysore

Check List: Affix a passport size photograph at the appropriate place in the application form; enclose demand draft (Rs1350/-)/photocopy of HDFC challan; photocopy of payment receipt from other Institutes

CAT application form available from: 30th August, 2010

Closing date for CAT-2009 registration: 30th September, 2010

SDMIMD application forms available from: 01st October, 2010

CAT test window: 27th October to 24th November, 2010

For XAT applicants

XAT registration: September 2010 to November 2010

XAT 2011 exam: 02nd January, 2011

Last date for submitting SDMIMD application form: 15th February, 2011

Selection process: Selection for the PGDM programme will be based on the performance in CAT 2010/XAT 2011/GMAT, academic achievements, work experience and personal interview. Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview some time in early March 2011
