Programs Offered at VIT Campus:
Through VITEEE 2011, one can take admission to any of the following programs of study including Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical & Energy Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE 2011:
If you are appearing in the 10+2 or its equivalent exam in March/ April 2011 or have already passed the exam with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology you are eligible to take the VITEEE 2011. However the SC/ST candidates and candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, Manipur& Mizoram need to have 50 % average marks in the above mentioned subjects.
Application procedure for VITEEE 2011:
You can procure the application forms for VITEEE 2011 from the post offices at Rs. 750/ or by handing over a DD of Rs. 750/ in person at VIT University, Vellore or their administrative office. One can also get the form by post by sending a request containing full address of the applicant and a DD of Rs.750/- drawn in favor of "Vellore Institute of Technology" payable at Vellore to the Admissions officer VIT University, Vellore-632 014, Tamil Nadu, India.
